AFIK, it's a one-way path with iTunes: PC database ==> iPod.

If you want to capture the tunes from an iPod to some other
computer, just let it come up as a removable drive and drag/drop
the music folder to the PC.

After you've done that, you'll have a bunch of directories like
F01, F02, and so-forth containing files with names like ASYK.mp3,
AQLF.mp4, and so-forth.

Do get those back to "real" names, use something like FooBar2000
- which has script capabilities that will let you do that.
