What's so confuisng about it? I mean what we have is a light
sensitive electrical sensor and a lens that focusses light reflected
from the subject onto this sensor. Electronics then convert it to a
digital file and this is sent to websites, then sent to my computer.

Uhm. I think the only possible diifculty is understanding why anyone
would arbttarily group about half the world's population into a single
category, and then accuse others of being insular.
