To use street talk: "She a lazy ho." (wink). The woman can use
passwords as you stated to block the TV. Kids can not watch unless a
parent types in the pass.
Alternatively: She can call Comcast or Cox or Whoever, and ask them
to disconnect your cable service. Goodbye cable & goodbye any access
a child has to "sexual assault scenes" on said service.
The kid can watch videotapes. Or (horror) read a book. Or ride a
bike. Or color a book. They don't need Disney.
If you don't like uncensored Basic, don't buy it.
