At present you can't make a copy of a HD-DVD as easily as you can a regular
DVD. There is PC software which enables you to make a copy - provided you
have the encryption key. The MPAA now claims that merely publishing the
encryption key serial number on a website is a breach of their copyright and
have threatened to sue anyone who does it.

That's not the half of it. A company (thought to be MacroVision) is taking
down websites which host editing software on the grounds that it could
theoretically be used to make illegal copies. VobBlanker is the latest
victim, the latest version will no longer run if AnyDVD, DVD43 or DVD Region
Free is detected on the PC.
