I've never tried to make a video before but all of a sudden I need to.
My camera is a 10-year-old videocam (or camcorder), i.e. using tape. It
has a Video and an Audio outlet (Yellow & White sockets). Until
tonight I mistakenly thought I could connect from these outlets direct
to my computer. It didn't work a quick internet search took me to a
page that suggests that I need a device called a "usb video input
adapter".
These are quite pricey, though I see they are going quite cheaply on
Ebay from Hong Kong.
However, can I check with you guys that a "usb video input adapter" IS
actually the best way forward for me?
Any other options (other than buying a digital videocam!) ?
Thanks.
Eddy.
