Two more observations:

(i) Radlight is also a means by which video can be played back

(ii) I remembered why I hate a-squared... it took the pagefile to over
1.5Gb and rendered the PC unusable for about half an hour until I was
able to CTRL-SHIFT-ESC to the task manager and kill the fucker.
