I thot they said that it won't REQUIRE an internet connection but that
it will allow for one and that there will be content available for the
disc to access if there is a connection.

The bad DRM thigns are still there independent of the internet
connecton, though. The DRM is renewable via new discs, prolly in a
similar fashion as to the XCP fiasco. The self-shutdown pending mods
is still there.

It will be interesting to see what comes out of all this.
