Well, Beyonce was never really a "Star". She IS a performer, and got
lucky enough to get some roles in Hollywood.
Her acting performances are mediocre, at best, and an acting role that
involves singing is one main reason she was chosen.
The Hudson gal is from AI, IIRC.
