Thanks for the tip. I've looked the instructions for setting the
damned thing to 'disk mode' and it's physically impossible to
implement the instructions (how do you hold down the buttons at
once?). I'll look at it again after I buy a book on it.......I guess
'iPod for Dummies' is a good selection. It's a shame there isn't just
a *&^%g button you can press to set it to 'disk mode'.
Is there another player on the market where:
1. You can buy files and put them on any computer.
2. Transfer the files to a player easily with no rigamarole.
3. Has a user interface that someone over 30 can understand.
4. Doesn't have a propietary file format.
