There is no moderator.

Rec.Nude is a part of Usenet, a part of the internet that predates the
web. Google Groups only provides an interface to it - and as such
many people make the common mistake that it is a part of Google and
therefore under some kind of management process.

Google uses the same interface to host its own private groups that
never leave the boundaries of their systems.

What the real problem is, is the cross posting which is meant to draw
flames and arguments. People just hit REPLY and the whole thing takes
off.

That is the actual intention here.
