Camcorders which record to DVD do exist although they typically use a
smaller mini DVD disk which is playable in many if not most home DVD
players. You can also connect any video camera or camcorder which has either
composite (analog) or live Firewire (digital) output to a separate
stand-alone DVD recorder to make full sized DVDs. Using either a camcorder
or a set-top DVD recorder, the performance can be recorded, and (after a one
minute finalizing step) the finished disk can be given to the performer.
