I am having a strange problem with HDV footage from a Sony HVR-V1U,
captured into Premiere Pro 2.0 (on P4 WinXP). The audio was recorded
using an external Shure SM11 mic into Input 2. HOWEVER... I may have
inadvertantly switched the input to Channel 1, which is the Sony Cardiod
mic that comes with the camera and is plugged into input 1.

The audio plays if you run the video from Windows Media Player.
However, Premiere Pro 2.0 shows no audio, plays no audio, and outputs no
audio... except for one file, which I created outdoors after unplugging
th Shure SM11...

Can anyone tell me what is going on? If the audio is there-- it plays
in Media Player-- why can't Premiere Pro see it?

Premiere reports that the source file is 48K stereo audio, as is the
project.
