Sorry for posting here, but I couldn't find any emule newsgroups . . .

I just started using emule last night when I couldn't connect to WinMX
(although connection is fine today), and had a few questions the answers to
which I could not find on the emule site:

1. Why can't I use the preview function? (It's greyed out on the drop-down
menu) (trying to preview downloading mp3's).

2. Is it best to use the eD2K connection or the Kad connection? I'm
currently using both, but not sure if that's a good idea.

3. On my first session, the folks uploading from me had multicolored
progress bars under the "Obtained Parts" category, and it looked like
progress was being made. Now however, all the upload progress bars are
uniformly grey --- since the uploaders appear to be still connected I'm
assuming they're making progress, but why is there none shown?

4. Why can't I view shared files of the uploaders? That option on the drop
down menu is greyed out and inoperative.

5. Do the little red chjeck marks next to the icons of the uploaders mean
anything? If so, what?

I'm sure I'll be coming up with more questions, but I'd really appreciate
anyone's help on those I've outlined above.
