I'm glad you touched upon the point of something being placed there
when not looking. I hit the lampshade because I moved. I moved because
someone moved near the place I had been standing. I obviously wanted
to make sure I didnt strike them. Unless you are playing on your own
in a padded room, there is no way you can be 100% certain that someone
doesnt get in the way, or put something in a place you hadnt realised.
Shit happens. Yes, people around you should be alert, but you know,
gran isnt as thoughtful as she once was!

Hmm. When I posted that reply, I viewed the page source of those links
to see if "youtube" could be found. It wasnt. Maybe it was via a
"shorterurl" and not seen? Not that it matters.

Go on then, surprise me.

Im stating that because the Wii involves flailing your arms around,
that inevitably, something *can* happen. Sometimes because of
carelessness, sometimes because someone has done something you are
oblivious to. I noticed someone in this thread stating their kids dont
need to use the straps. Perhaps their palms dont get sweaty?

The point being, as and when accidents do happen, there is always a
common denominator. A Wii.

I'm sure I read somewhere that they have been replacing the straps? If
thats true, I'm sure there must be a reason? I could think of one, but
admittedly, thats speculation.
