Hi, It has been happening randomly that when I set the manual timer to
record a show, the recording ends up having only partially recorded. It
seems to have cut off before it should have. I also have found the machine
with the power on after a timed recording was completed. This prevents it
from recording the next timed entry. Does anybody have any idea what may be
causing this?

I have a Philips DVD recorder.
