Can anyone recommend programs for the Mac, or plugins for FCP, designed to
clean up old video? This was shot on an ancient format and has been
converted to DVD using two different (ancient) machines. Each transfer has
different problems--one looks like it needs time-base correct (may be too
late now that it's on DVD?), and the other has artifacts, dropouts, etc.
Sorry I can't be more specific, it's been shown to me once a few weeks ago.
Just need general suggestions on where to get info--are there programs which
will automatically remove dropout from video without having to work with it
frame-by-frame, for example?
