Regarding shooting 16x9 format with your PD-150. I have the VX-2000, which
is the prosumer version and basically the same camera. Its 16x9 or
widescreen format option is not true widescreen. What I understand from my
reading is that it crops the image, as opposed to the method used by the
XL-2. Best to look into this before shooting something that may need to be
shown on a large screen.
