Hmmm . . . there've apparently been several patches offered on a variety of
websites. The update I got (which works fine) came from
http://www.winmxworld.com/
If you didn't get yours from there, it might be worthwhile to try dumping
the winmx you've now got and just starting over with a download from that
site.
Just a suggestion, mind you, certainly not a guarantee . . .
