If you want a player to work with iPod accessories, it’ll have to be an
iPod, period.

If that’s not all that important, then the whold world is open to you. I
suggest you check out iRiver and Creative’s players.

One of the nice things on Creative’s players that the iPod doesn’t have
is the ability to adjust the sensitivity of the trackpad.
