I don't think HP make their own DVD drives. It is most probably
a rebadged LG or Liteon. I find Liteon have fairly frequent
updates. LG updates are few and far between. BenQ have been
good in the past, but they have also stopped making drives.
The newer BenQs are rebadged Liteons.
