But without specifying even whether you're talking about
consumer, prosumer, or professional cameras, you have
a more open-ended question than you may comprehend.
Sure, you can carry along a tackle-box full of various adapters,
but that becomes unreliable and unwieldy, particularly for
smaller cameras, etc.

Assuming you have reviewed the commercial offerings to
see how they solved the problems?
