I've seen 4-pin XLRs on cameras for power, 5-pin XLRs tend to be used
for DMX lighting control. Standard (3-pin) XLR is used for audio,
either stereo unbalanced (ground, left, right -- getting rarer all the
time) or mono-balanced.
