I thought a DVD player wouldn't give a poo whether a disc is PAL or NTSC
- it just squirts out the video signal and hands responsibility for it
to the TV upon which one is hoping to watch the result. It sounds like
his telly can't handle PAL?

Or am I wrong? Not too sure on this one.
