You could try "converting" it to a higher bitrate with a program like
"dbpowerAmp Music convertor". Of course, a higher bitrate will not
improve the quality, etc, but may well enable WMP to play it!
I have used this method on unplayable/corrupted mp3's and it often
results in a playable file.
