It was a process called Natural Vision. I'm not sure how that differs
from the traditional red/blue lenses, or if it is in fact the same
thing. John Wayne's daughter intro'd the movie and explained how to
use the 3d glasses. I'm not sure if it was on the fledgeling Fox
Network only or also on Independant tv stations but it aired locally
here in Boston on WFXT ch 25 on a monday night as I recall. I think
you had to get the 3d glasses at 7-11, which there wasn't that many of
in my neck of the woods at that time as I lived across the border in
Rhode Island. Back then Dairy Mart was the popular convenience store
here. Now DM's are long gone and 7/11 and Xtra-Mart's are the norm. I
might still have the vhs tape I recorded it on lying around someplace.
Come to think of it that was the first tape my old Sears vcr ate up
good when it was on it's death bed in the late 1980's.
