The core duo can not be in a multi-proc system like the xeons. So the limit
is quad core processing. I assume Vegas uses multiproc multithread to take
advantage of that.
I didn't compare the Conroe to the Xeon when I bought my 8 core machines so
I can not tell how the conroe compares to the clovertown. I wanted as many
cores as I could possible get for our 3D render farm mainly.
