You put individual songs on the player.
And then you can use the Creative MediaSource program to create
playlists on the player, to play the songs which are already on the player.

Meaning that you can’t create playlists from the player’s own menus. You
have to hook it up to a computer and use the supplied Mediasource software.
Yeah. Not too great, huh? That’s part of the reason I got an iPod a year
after I had gotten the Zen Micro.
