Hate to bring things back on topic chaps, but...
I've sadly just had my first divx player, a Umax Kazuki 2800X fail
(under warranty, no sign of new deliveries of same, so refund
requested - as usual, superb service from SVP Communications)
I'm looking to get a replacement divx player, and the Toshiba SD270
looks quite nice (I already have a Tosh, and i'm very happy with it).
The website doesn't say it's locked to a region, but knowing Toshiba
it will be - there's a hack which apparently works on some models of
the above, but does anyone have a UK version and can confirm it works?

One other daft (?) question regards it's divx support - their site
only suggests divx playback from CD - shurely shome mishtake ?
"DivX compatible which allows watching of DivX video via CD-R/W"
Thanks :-)
