 It's probably formatted with a file system used in Linux. You can get a
 Knopix Linux distribution in an ISO. Burn the ISO to CD. Then you can boot
 into Knopix from the CD without putting anything on your PC. Knopix has a
 GUI interface so it's not to hard to use for things like browsing a drive.
 It can be used to examine a Windows install that wont boot too. Good tool
 and gives a peek at Linux.
