I also suggest that flashers heed the advice to turn off anti-virus software
completely and anything else that might interfere with the flashing process.
I went offline and turned off my firewall, printer monitoring processes,
some persistent anti-virus processes, anti-spyware/malware processes, and a
several other unnecessary processes via CtrlAltDel. Better safe than
sorry... :)
