Hi,

I have hooked up the HDD from the DVD recorder to my PC booted in Knoppix
but it failed to mount the drive and reported "unknown file system". So it
looks like I won't be able to drop in a larger drive. Unless somebody out
there has a fix.

As a side note, the original problem I have with my DVD drive, I sent a
strongly worded e-mail to Toshiba complaining that the replacement DVD drive
cost more than a new recorder and the called be back and offered to have the
drive replaced FOC. Good result.
