Apologies in advance - I'm a real Neanderthal when it comes to modern
technology, so if this is a silly question, please forgive me :-)

I recently bought a Pure Evoke 1XT DAB radio, which has stereo output
an a USB socket. I'd like to buy an MP3 player, and somehow get music
onto it from the radio. Is this possible without using a computer as
an intermediary? I'm asking this partly because my computer's an
ancient thing with Windows 98SE, and it always asks for 'drivers' and
suchlike.

Also, is it possible to get music onto a memory stick from this radio?

If anyone can give me some advice, or point me to a tutorial somwhere,
I'd appreciate it.
