Good day, I am interested in DVD binary format. For data DVD, I have
no problem: I read sector 10h and I find the Primary Volume
Descriptor.
I have a DVD with a film and some files: a directory VIDEO_TS and
other files here. These files seem to be real and non virtual, unlike
file .cda in CD Audio. They have a date and a time.
I thought that in the DVD two sessions were stored: the first one for
the film and the second one for data files. I wrote a simple Windows
program which uses DeviceIoControl() with IOCTL_CDROM_READ_TOC_EX, but
I found that there was only a session! The first complete session
number and the last complete session number were the same.
So, my answer is: how are stored data? where are the Primary Volume
Descriptor, the other tables etc.? if this group is not the correct
one for asking my questions, where have I to search?
Thank you.
