You're absolutely right. When I can mail a disc on Monday and get
another one back on Wednesday, then send that one back on Wednesday and
get another one back on Friday, I clap and ask for more. That's just
the kind of crappy service I seek out.
I'm not claiming everyone gets that kind of service from them. I'm
lucky enough to have a local distribution center with very good
inventory. I rarely get a DVD mailed from outside my local city.
Maybe you should look into Redbox kiosks, if they have them in your
area. Though I would imagine the $1 rentals are higher than what you'd
get through Netflix. And the inventory is a tad lower. Then there's
the hassle of returning them. But I still use them occasionally for new
releases.
