If Netflix actually did this for everyone, they'd never get
complaints, nor woudl have they have been sued. Of course, as you have
seen in this forum, a lot of people don't get this service (nor will
you for much longer - if you're actually returning disks the day after
you get them, you will be throttled at some point - maybe tomorrow,
maybe in two months, maybe in six months, but it WILL happen). The
people who still get the service you get always seemed baffled when
someone else isn't getting it "how can you complain about a great
company like Netflix" or "it's still better than anythng else." I will
be interested to see it when you start gettnig throttled.
And you have written that companies "embellesh" what they do and we
should just be happy and accept it. And this is my point, if you're
happy about companies trying to rip you off, you're the companies'
best friend. They love people like you who think it's okay to lie
about their service and will just accept it.
My initial query was if there was a company besides BB and Netflix out
there and I guess there isn't.
BTW, I've had BB for a week and a half and have recieved two disks so
far. Also, it was supposed to be for a 2 week trial period and they
already charged my credit card. So anyone thinking of getting BB,
think twice. It's hard to believe, but there is actually a company way
worse than Netflix.
