My thanks to those who responded. None of the programs suggested are quite
what I'm looking for, but meanwhile, after much trial and error, I have a
found way to make my own templates using Lotus WordPro 9.5, an old
word-processing program dating back to 1999 which still holds up amazingly
well. This allows me complete flexibility in designing text, pictures,
colours, etc. etc.
