Nappy in tantrum mode? It would be interesting if he were real. But he's
not. Just a ghost in the machine.
What you call your "non-personal comment" was, in fact, yet another
ill-informed rant illuminated by your near total ignorance about the
subject matter you were so blissfully critiquing.
YOU'RE the guy who "waxed informed" on seminars you've never attended,
and events you've never experienced!
I called you on it because I was THERE - in the middle of what you were
spouting opinions about without EVER experiencing for yourself.
I countered your opinions with FACTS.
I'm not associated with Videomaker any longer having voluntarily
resigned my column and contributing editorship nearly a year ago to
develop my commercial product.
But I'm proud of my tenure there and all the people who I (hopefully)
helped along the way to a better understanding of video fundamentals.
Folks reading this will be able to judge who's an amateur and who's the
"working professional", pretty well by simply looking both of us up.
For nappy, that means reading what he's scrawled here - since he hides
whatever else he is behind his play-name and has NO verifiable
credentials. None.
For me it's easier. My opinions are in 10 years of published articles,
thousands of searchable newsgroup posts, and even in photographic
evidence of where and how I work (see another post in this series.
Who I am and what I do has been verified by real people who have
personally worked with me, crewed for me in my studio or on the road,
attended my lectures or otherwise known me personally.
Strangely, untrue of ANY of old nap's so called "credentials" all of
which are TOTALLY unverifiable.
And saddest of all, when called on his lack of experience in the
subjects upon which he's pontificating , rather than mustering reasoned
counter argument - he falls directly to lobbing F-bombs with abandon.
Ad hominem, indeed.
Stomp away dude. Ghosts make no sound and leave no tangible wake. They
are products of the imagination.
