I copy the original cover and use it to identify the archive that I put on
the shelve. My scanner printer seems to print at 98% which is OK in the
full-size DVD covers but in the slim cases, the name of the movie isn't
readable while the DVD is on the shelve.
If there was a way to copy the original cover so that the sides were readable
in a slim case, that would allow the use of slim cases which allows more DVDs
on any given shelve.
How do you read the sidewalls on a slim DVD on the shelve?
