Larry, thanks very much for taking the time to answer.

The exhibit will be up several months.

There will be a welcome area with several displays, likely projection
screens. Then the visitor will proceed through four separate areas.
Each area will have three or so displays. There is projected to be a
large number people through the exhibit daily. It is contemplated
that media will be used to meter traffic.

To your answer: I have somewhat familiar with the Mediasonic solution.
This a dvd timer/synchronizer.

It has been suggested that a media server would be a better solution.
I understand that there is off the shelf software for this
application.

What I am looking for is a finger pointing in the direction of people
doing this sort of thing.
