Thanks Larry. Mediasonics IS a media server solution., as you
mention...now called Electosonics by the way.
What they suggested is a box which holds the video....essentially a
programmable 80gig HD. One is requiredfor each screen. These in turn
are attached to a "show control center" via TC/IP. The show control
center is a computer running control software. Output via the 80gig
hardware device insead of directly from a computer eliminates the
possiblility of the dreaded Windows error message appearing on the
screens.
There is, I gather, a way of distributing the screen content directly
from a computer...this may be a possiblility since the video clips are
very small on each display.
