I need a DVD player that plays DVDs and doesn't do it too quietly in a
normal TV. Toshiba has a setting they call a "dialog" setting that
makes DVDs loud enough to hear; but Toshibas are weaker at reading DVDs,
some having too much freezing. Panasonic actually plays anything, but
is TOO QUIET for most DVDS.
