Technology is nice. But, from what I recall, there were various
licensing issues which has further delayed mass-production of SEDs.
The investment required for the production plants is going to be
huge...and with LCD technology getting better all the time SED is
going to have a tough time competing commercially. That's why I am a
bit pessimistic about its future. I could be wrong though!
