Sorry, I missed the Vista bit. Mea culpa!
It could be that it works under Vista 32, with in XP emulation mode? Don't
know if anyone ever tried that. You might need to disable the UAC etc, to
make it write in it's folders.

Yeah, for internetuse, Vista is nice, due to the added security features,
but all the extra bits make it a hassle for video-editing, in slowing the
system down too much.
