In what way? Please describe precisely how and why the light
source itself is a source of color inaccuracy.

Nonsense. The nature of the light source isn't even in the top five
contributors to color error in LCDs. VERY color-accurate LCDs
can be developed using quite conventional CCFL backlighting.
