OK, Bob. I guess a picture is worth a thousand words in this case? I had
one of the boys split open an LG panel today and here is what we found
inside. I'll let you name the components since your expertise far exceeds
mine, being that you wrote a book on the subject. I numbered the components
and the one I'm really concerned about is #5. You know, that one with a
very slight blue/green tint to it. LG put a colored piece of plastic in
there to correct something. Hell, looks like they put a lot of plastic
layers in the backlight assembly to do something. You name em and tell the
rubes out here what they do as we won't know the difference anyway.

Bob, I'm not trying to bust your balls, but do you remember the four basic
food groups? How about how many planets we now have in the solar system?
Things change. I understand now that you have a vested interest in showing
everyone you are right since you "wrote" a book. I have no vested interest
other than stating my findings and playing with idiots that like getting
into pissing contests. It's possible you and/or your book need a little
revising. My suggestion is take it up with LG. There is nowhere else we
can go with this discussion; I'm done with you.
