You might try something like Audacity and doing an edit on the wave where
you merge the two so that they blend together. It will take a little while
at first, but you should be able to copy and paste after each edit. So
you'll start off with 7 seconds, then 14, 28, etc. until you get to the
seven hours. It shouldn't take too long since you're growing exponentially.
