Is nerdy the new gay? If so, this is a development I've waiting for all my

In any case, the costumes in _Batman and Robin_ were an extreme expression
of the old gay look in superheroes.

The stormtroopers' armor in _Star Wars_ emphasis their maleness -- if that's
what we're talking about here -- far more than the new Superman's overwear.
Are the stormtroopers gay, really gay?
