Looking to kick out my old PVR/DVD player and replace itself with something
that can handle 1080p, Blu-Ray and as player for XVid/DivX content off the
interweb (I've got a wireless network already although only used for PC and
laptop)

A media PC would seem to be the answer - but get one built to my spec or buy
a branded? Any resources or reviews out there?
