Mmmmmmmm... No. They want the piece of the pie that should be their's
already. They give studios their intellectual property in exchange for
residuals. That's the agreement. DVDs weren't invented before the last
renewal. Neither was the internet. The writers rightfully want what is
their's. And the studios can't be trusted with the numbers. They claimed
that Titanic didn't pull a cent in profit.
