Sometimes, I thought that Norm was a troll. Why else would he ever get into
discussions such as these?:
Thursday, August 31, 2000
.. What's a Fudgepacker? Norm? .
bnc asked the question: "In Office Space, Michael Bolton called the
Efficiency Experts, "fudgepackers." What is this? I've never heard of this
term used. Please explain."
Norm replied: "It's a derogatory term frequently thrown at gay men,
regarding the mechanics of anal sex -- it's used by Bolton in yet another
expression of inadequate white-guy rage. (I was sure he'd be the one who
snapped, rather than, um, the guy who snapped.) See, I _do_ know
everything."
This thread became more and more debased and soon Norm found himself
drowning in the deep end.

Here's another Norm sideshow that ran for weeks:
.. Re: The Wilner Wager - A $1000 Bet - The Proof is in.
Saturday, March 08, 2003
1)Max Christoffersen made a post claiming to have been an editor at a New
Zeland daily newspaper.
2)Norm Wilner expressed disbelief.
3)Max took the expression of disbelief as Norm trying to present a 'fact'
that max never had that job.
4)Max presented a ludicrous wager offering a business card as proof of his
employment.
5)Norm declined the wager, implying that he didn't view a business card as
proof.
5)Max revised the wager, offering a letter from his former employer.
6.) Max later stated that he received written confirmation from INL
(Independent Newspapers Ltd - the parent company of The Auckland Star), of
his employment and position.
7.) As far as I know, Norm never paid out a dime.

Norm would actually engage in tussles with dvdguy2 and call him derogatory
names.
But that's another story.....
